HOT CHIP I Feel Better Taken from their album One Life, this is a cracking class dancefloor filler that you will never get sick of hearing. The accompanying video is weird too and well worth checking out.
THESE NEW PURITANS Attack Music A dark song that features lots of vocal harmonies and spoken-word chanting. There’s lots of heavy pounding beats meaning that the end result feels a bit tribal and sinister.
I BLAME COCO Self Machine So we finally get some music from the hot new pop sensation tipped to be the next big Brit megastar- and it’s great. The lovely Coco really is going to be huge. Get in early.
JAY-Z On To The Next One More lyrical genius from the king of rap – no wonder Dr Dre has reportedly dragged him into the studio to help out on his long-awaited album Detox.
MIKA Kick-Ass Mika? Really? You’ve got the best movie in years, all cool and edgy, and then you get Mika to do the theme song. Incredibly, though, it’s not that bad.
LISA MITCHELL Oh! Hark! Cute little folky/pop single that’s radio- friendly and infectious. Its light, breezy, spring sound will chase off any lingering winter blues.
